Mobilink won 10 Mhz of 3G spectrum last month and to our surprise they have already started thier service at major locations. As the title of this thread gives it away that they now have on offer a 3G USB dongle which is branded as Speednet Stick and they are selling it for Rs2500 and comes with a trial offer included within the Rs2500.

Mobilink is selling their 3G Speednet stick USB dongles at their customer service locations in these cities : Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Multan

The dongle they are selling which is being advertised as Speednet Stick is actually Huawei E303 Dongle and looking at the reviews here and there on the internet it looks like a decent peice of hardware. Using a dongle instead of a mobile phone does not make much difference but using a dongle is much easier in my view as you dont have to start tethering on your mobile phone every time you want to use the data. Having an extra sim card for your dongle and one for your mobile phone with data enabled will surely add to the monthly costs you incurr but if you want ease of use then that is the way to go. If you have the money to spend then why not?

This dongle has a max download speed of 7.2Mbps and the max upload speed it supports is 5.76Mbps. This dongle also has a micro SD memory card slot that you can use if you want.

Every one has a different perspective. The same thing is costly for one person and looks cheap to another.
