Using a wifi router with Connect broadband

Can I use a wifi router with my Connect broadband connection? If so which router should I purchase, I currently have no budget so any suitable recommendations will do.
Also please advise that if I connect a wifi router will my Connect broadband connection of 10mbps speed be reduced?

I have used the Connect broadband connection and at the time I had two routers a Netgear and a TP Link router, the connection didn't work very well with the Netgear router and worked well with the TP Link router, so the TP Link router is the one I would recommend.

With a Connect broadband connection best go for a Netgear router. Dlink routers are a bit unreliable and dont perform as well. Connecting the broadband connection to the router will not reduce the internet speed it will remain the same.
