I live in Karachi and have a Wateen broadband connection and I would like to know whether if anyone else is facing similar problems that I am facing. When I try to open up sites like Facebook, Gmail, Twitter they do not load, I have tried many times and they don't open, when trying to open the same sites on my mobile phone they open as normal. The same thing happened a few months ago and I called Wateen broadband they solved the problem from their end some how, but again yesterday the same problem started.
The only reason that I can think of is the DNS that you are using is playing up on you. The simplest solution would be to use Opera browser but for some reason if you do not want to use Opera then try changing your DNS to either open DNS or you could use Google's DNS which is :
