Wateen is one of the large internet service providers in Pakistan besides other products. Below are the wireless broadband tariffs as listed on their website. Wateen is widely available across Pakistan but their website does not mention anything in this regard and nor do they have a list or map showing their coverage area. I believe it would be great help if they could add atleast list of cities they are providing service to.

Below are the wireless broadband tariffs they have :

Yes Wateen broadband is available in Lahore but to advise you on what plan you should go for I would like you to explain what you would use this new connection for so I can suggest the best suitable plan for you.

By the way you are the first member on this forum after me :) Welcome to Pakistan broadband forum.

I believe this would be the best option for you:

StarterPKR 999/month
  • Speed: 0.5 Mbps
  • Usage: Unlimited
  • USB
  • Bolt Device only
Why this plan?

Firsly 512kbps is not that fast a connection but to be honest while browsing you cannot tell the difference between a half meg connection and a 10mbps connection purely because the size of pages is just too small and even a half meg connection would load pages equally fast or be behind by just a few mili seconds and paying the extra money for something that is not noticeably different is no good I guess.

The main reason I I recommend this one is that it is unlimited and you do not run the risk of running huge bills and do not have to worry about keeping track of how much data is left every month. You can use it as much as you want. Yes youtube videos will take a little time to buffer but then the comfort of having a fixed amount of bill every month regardless of how much you use it is great.
