I have read the news, and also read some threads on the forum and many telecom companies have got a 3G license and some even got a 4G license, and some have refused to get 3G which is something important for Pakistani people. One of the service providers refusing 3G is WorldCall, a company whose tariff rates are so high and do not even match up to other service providers. Why?
A privately owned company is all about profit making and they will chage as much as they can without loosing market share. World call is one of those companies and we cannot expect charity from them. PTCL could be a bit more agressive with pricing as it is state owned and that would force private operators to price their services at par or risk loosing market share.
